I am an international student at Conestoga College, studying Management and Leadership Development, learning the insights of leadership style and traits that I would be dealing in the Board room in the future. I am the Founder and CEO of Zappy Consults Private Limited (OPC), India and Zappy Consults (LLC), USA. I have successfully demonstrated my leadership and innovation skills in my career. My membership in the Governance Professional of Canada (GPC) further cements my expertise in corporate governance.

I have spent over 15 years in the regulatory compliance, board governance, and secretarial practices arenas, as a result, I have successfully handled the complexity of the Indian corporate law. Becoming an entrepreneur has been invaluable for me to acquire the essential skills in quality leadership as well as develop cutting-edge products. My primary focus of corporate governance was made an example by my involvement with Governance Professional of Canada (GPC). Being an Associate Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) makes me strong in my in-depth knowledge of the Companies Act, the SEBI regulations, RBI regulations, and maintaining governance standards across the infrastructure sector in India.

Transitioning to Canada, I bring my expertise and knowledge to the governance domain. After getting qualified in the International Qualifying Program and on induction as an Associate Member of the Corporate Governance Institute, (CGI) Canada, I got a deep insight into the Canadian Business Corporation Act, 1985, and Corporate Governance practices in Canada. I am excited about the opportunities I have for my professional growth and the possibilities of making my mark on the Canadian corporate governance ecosystem as an active member of the GPC.
