Hubert T. Lacroix,

As strategic counsel, Hubert assists clients with the development of business strategies, corporate governance, long-term planning and major deals.

Before joining Blakes, Hubert spent 10 years as the president and CEO of CBC/Radio-Canada, a tenure during which he notably achieved an unprecedented digital transformation of the broadcaster. He also has over 20 years of experience as a corporate lawyer in major Canadian law firms.

Hubert is fluent in English and French.

Hubert has been a director on the boards of numerous companies and non-profit organizations. He currently sits on Stornoway Diamond Corporation’s board of directors. He has also been a trustee of the Lucie and André Chagnon Foundation and is a director of their private holding company.

Hubert spent five years as an adjunct professor with the Faculty of Law at Université de Montréal and taught the business law module at the Quebec Bar School.
