KULVIR SINGH GILL

Kulvir Singh Gill is an accomplished strategist and facilitator with over fourteen years of governance experience serving on non-profit, corporate and advisory boards. Kulvir is on the board of directors for publicly-listed Canada Nickel Company and Windfall Geotek in addition to the advisory boards of Summit Nanotech and Zerv. Passionate about community service, he is a co-founder and board chair of the Seva Food Bank in Mississauga. He also serves on the boards of the William Osler Health System, the Empire Club of Canada and the Sikh Research Institute.
 
Working as a senior strategist for Clareo and a consultant for Strategy Lab, Kulvir supports organizations in building their growth strategies and developing their next generation of innovative leaders. He has designed and delivered dozens of corporate strategy retreats, multi-stakeholder working sessions, and leadership programs for high-potential talent. Over his career, he was worked directly with Fortune 500 clients across multiple industries including mining, oil and gas, heavy industrial, financial services, and retail. Kulvir was also the Founding Executive Director of the Development Partner Institute (DPI) to advance sustainability in the mining industry and has also served as the Innovation Ecosystem Manager for the Canadian Mining Innovation Council (CMIC). Kulvir began his career as a management consultant with Oliver Wyman before holding several positions with Barrick Gold involving supply chain management, post-merger integrations, strategic planning, innovation and sustainability.
 
Kulvir is a recipient of the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal and a 2010 Action Canada Fellow. He holds a B.Sc. and a B. Comm. from the University of Calgary and the ICD.D designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors. He lives with his family in Brampton, Ontario.
