Lunch and Learn: Truth, Reconciliation and Indigenous Ways of Knowing

Join us on Monday, June 22, for a powerful one-hour virtual training session designed to deepen your understanding of Truth, Reconciliation and Indigenous ways of knowing and being with governance in ways that are both practical and transformative

Led by Annie Korver (amongst many things - she’s an Entrepreneur, Mom, Sister, Director and Citizen of the Métis Nation - learn more about Annie and the organizations she leads, Rise Consulting), this session will go beyond awareness-building to explore how Reconciliation principles can meaningfully shape leadership decisions, organizational culture and long-term strategy.

Participants will gain insight into the historical and contemporary contexts that inform Indigenous governance models and learn how these approaches can strengthen accountability and relationship-building at the board table (and within the organizations you work in and/or govern).

By the end of the session, you will leave with clear, actionable steps to embed Truth, Reconciliation, and Indigenous inclusion into your area of influence. You will also be encouraged to consider long-term opportunities for integrating Indigenous ways of knowing and being into governance practices.

Facilitated by Annie Korver, MBA. Founder and Principal, Rise Consulting
