GPC EDUCATION PROGRAM

GPC answered the call of governance professionals across Canada and created a program FOR governance professionals, developed BY governance professionals and subject matter experts intimately familiar with the role.

GPC's designation program (GPC.D) , Governance Professionals of Canada Education Program (GPC-EP) - 'Governance in Practice' provides the key missing piece for both new and seasoned professionals in governance, to gain and/or refine the skillset they need to take their organization's governance to new levels of excellence.

The GPC-D delivers critical and relevant content in a condensed, rigorous program with key speakers from across Canada. The program consists of three modules, each 2 ½ days. It is designed to enhance the skillset of governance professionals of all levels operating in a governance role, whether in public, private, not-for-profit or governmental organizations such as in: legal, compliance, ethics, stakeholder relations, board and committee support, and more.

GPC CONTINUOUS PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT COURSES (CPD)

GPC is committed to enhancing the skillset and tools available to its members and those navigating the waters of governance in Canada for their organizations.

In addition to its designation program, GPC has a robust professional development program for those interested in keeping up with the latest issues, challenges and best practices in governance. Our sessions vary from short (breakfast/lunch) presentations, to half-day sessions, to full or multi-day deeper dives in specific areas of governance.

Members and non-members of GPC are invited to register for our CPD sessions, to learn and network with one another and learn from top subject matters and experts in governance or relevant topics.
