NEW BOARD OF DIRECTOR APPOINTMENTS

We are thrilled to announce the appointment of Kyla Hilmer and Patrick Gauch to the Board of Directors of Governance Professionals of Canada. Following a rigorous selection process, which included a call letter to the membership and external candidates, Kyla and Patrick were chosen for their outstanding qualifications to GPC’s mission.

Both Kyla and Patrick bring a wealth of experience and expertise in financial acumen that will be invaluable as we continue to grow and innovate. Their insights and strategic vision will be instrumental in guiding GPC toward achieving its goals and maximizing shareholder value.

Kyla Hillmer
Vice President, Crown Services at Crown Investments Corporation

Kyla Hillmer is the Vice President, Crown Services at Crown Investments Corporation (CIC), the holding company for the Government of Saskatchewan’s commercial Crown corporations. In this role, Kyla has oversight of CIC’s legal, human resources, and governance functions. She is also responsible for the shareholder-directed subsidiary policies and programs in these areas. Patrick Gauch,
Vice-President, Finance and Operations, The Ottawa Cancer Foundation

Patrick brings a wealth of experience as a Corporate Director, having served on more than fifteen boards in the private, not-for profit and municipal sectors over the last 25 years. With expertise in leadership, strategic planning, financial management, human resources management, governance, organizational development and risk management, he is adept at dealing with the complex issues facing not-for-profit organizations.
